Miriam’s work focuses on ground-breaking commercial cases challenging companies’ energy transition strategies that are not truly aligned with achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement.


Miriam joins ClientEarth from the self-employed Bar. She is a Barrister with a specialist practice in international law and recently completed a trial at The Hague.

For three years, Miriam was a lawyer in the renowned international arbitration group at WilmerHale LLP. She also worked as a Judicial Fellow with the British and Russian judges at the International Court of Justice, a position for which she was nominated by the Cambridge Faculty of Law.


Miriam studied international law at The Hague and Cambridge. She subsequently studied and trained for admission to the Bar of England and Wales.

For her studies Miriam received numerous prestigious scholarships and awards including from the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, Newnham College Cambridge and the German National Academic Scholarship Foundation.
