Focus

Katie Nield leads ClientEarth’s Transport Systems work in Europe. She joined ClientEarth in April 2018. Much of her work has focused on clean air issues in Western Europe and promoting compliance with European air quality and emission standards. 

Experience

Before joining ClientEarth, Katie practiced as a planning and environmental lawyer at the international law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. 

Education

She holds a first-class degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, as well as a first class MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London.

I believe that law is at its most exciting and rewarding when being used as a tool to drive positive and long-term change. ClientEarth is unique in its commitment to using the law in this way to protect the health of people and the environment. I am extremely lucky to have the opportunity to be a part of that.
