Heather joined the Climate and Forest team as Senior Programme Officer in March 2014, having worked as Administration and IT Officer at ClientEarth since July 2012.


Heather has worked in many different roles for charities such as the RSPB, Groundwork, the Multiple Sclerosis Trust, and Amnesty International. She has also run a ski chalet in France, taught English at a university in Peru, and volunteered at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand. Before working for ClientEarth, Heather was the Grants Officer for Elizabeth Finn Care, where she was the first point of contact for people in need of financial assistance.


After completing a BSc in Geography at the University of Southampton, Heather did an MSc in Conservation at University College London. Her dissertation focused on the reintroduction of Amur Tigers to a forest in the North East of China and involved fieldwork near the Russian border.
