Dani works on ClientEarth’s Asia Climate and Energy Initiative as a researcher on the energy transition in the Philippines. She works with key Philippine partners to improve energy market regulation to accelerate the low-carbon transition and avoid dangerous climate change.


Before joining ClientEarth, Dani worked in the Office of the Solicitor General, representing the Philippines in domestic and international matters, including cases relating to energy policies and infrastructure projects. She also taught Public International Law in the Ateneo Law School. She has broad commercial and civil litigation and arbitration experience.


Dani holds an LLM from Harvard Law, where she was a Submissions Reader for the Harvard International Law Review, and a JD from the Ateneo Law School, where she was President of the Ateneo Society of International Law.

The aspiration to someday become a mother inspires me to work to protect life on earth and to live my present with eyes on a future without climate disaster. I am privileged to be part of an organization that uses the power of law to change the system for a brighter, healthier future.
