Lawyer, Value Chains, Trade & Investment
In the Forest programme, Charlotte works on the development of our forest conservation programme, looking at innovative legal pathways to address deforestation. In doing this, she works with a wide variety of actors: various competent authorities, civil society, institutions, universities, and international organisations.
Prior to this strand of work, Charlotte was working on the EU Timber Regulation’s enforcement and on what were the best complementary legal instruments to seek appropriate remedies and actions in EU jurisdictions.
Charlotte was also part of the EU Law and Policy team for an international law firm. Charlotte also has experience of working in legal public affairs and as an in-house lawyer in charge of environmental compliance. She is a lecturer in European Law at the Faculté Libre de Droit in Lille.
Charlotte graduated from Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne in EU Economic Law and the Universiteit van Amsterdam in EU Competition Law and Regulation.
