Anna Heslop first joined ClientEarth in 2015 and worked on Clean Air litigation before heading up our Biomass work. She now works as our Head of Wildlife and Habitats.

Before joining ClientEarth, Anna worked as a case handler for DG Environment at the European Commission.  She started her career in private practice in the UK working on environment and public law issues and planning.  She has also worked for a number of environmental NGOs in legal, casework and public affairs roles.

Anna holds an honours degree in law and a diploma in legal practice from Nottingham Law School and is a qualified solicitor. She was the Nottinghamshire Law Society Trainee Solicitor of the Year and Young Solicitor of the Year.

As a lawyer, it is a real privilege to be able to take action which protects and enhances the environment. I'm really proud to be taking that action alongside dynamic, talented and committed colleagues and partners across Europe.
