![]() Originally from California, Josh obtained his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from McGeorge School of Law in 2009, and was admitted to the California Bar in 2011. He obtained his LL.M. in Environmental Law & Policy at University College London (UCL) in 2011, where he wrote his dissertation on investigations and evidence gathering against corporations under international criminal law. Josh has a range of public interest environmental law experience. He clerked for Environmental Defense Center, an environmental law NGO in Santa Barbara California, where he fought against on- and off-shore oil extraction and coastal over-development. He interned at the Foundation for International Environmental Law and Development (FIELD), where he focused on international climate change law and corporate accountability mechanisms under international law.
