![]() David Holyoake advises on climate and energy law and policy in our London office. David holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Melbourne and Bachelor of Creative Arts. He has worked as legal policy officer for the Victorian Department of Justice, and Department of Premier and Cabinet (Australia) where his work included advice on the development of new legislation. He has also worked and volunteered for a variety of Australian environmental and social justice NGOs including the Environment Defenders Office and the Public Interest Legal Clearing House. In 2009 David worked for ClientEarth from Australia, advising two Senators from the Australian Green Party on the development of the proposed emissions trading scheme legislation. In 2010 he began work in ClientEarth’s London office in the climate and energy team. His work currently includes development of regulatory solutions for upcoming climate change laws in EU member states, work on emissions trading legislation and a variety of other issues.
