![]() James is returning to ClientEarth, having first worked at ClientEarth as a legal researcher and communications officer in 2008-09, including periods in both the London and Brussels offices. A highlight of James’s first spell at ClientEarth was contributing legal research towards ClientEarth’s Aarhus communication, concerning access to environmental justice in the UK. A UN panel accepted ClientEarth’s criticism that the UK does not comply with the international law on environmental justice, due to excessive barriers to access to the courts. James holds a degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford, and has successfully completed his law conversion course and BPTC at BPP. t. +44 (0)20 3030 5956 e.
