This briefing is a response to the draft Interim Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation  (REDD+) Partnership Agreement.  The draft was published in May 2010 and is intended to address a broad range of aspects of REDD+, including by improving knowledge transfer and enhancing capacity, mitigation actions and technology development.

It is crucial that civil society is fully represented and able to participate in decision-making processes if the outcomes are to be legitimised, of high quality and effectively implemented.
