On 24th May, ClientEarth and the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) launched a project to help young people forge a contract with world leaders to protect the planet and its oceans for future generations.
100 young people, drawn from schools and youth groups, gathered in Selfridges department store to celebrate (in conjunction with Project Ocean) the diversity of life on this planet as well as to talk about their fears and demands for the future. The event culminated in a colourful march through the store, with placards and cries to 'save the fish', which certainly attracted some bemused looks from shoppers!
